Graig Thomas is a highly experienced, energetic and motivated “Fortune 25” Director who has risen within the Human Resource space, from Recruiter to HR Manager to Corporate Director of Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS). During this ascension Graig has earned the respect and confidence of hundreds of executives, managers and staff members within the oil & gas, nuclear, mining and medical device industries. In all of his roles Graig has demonstrated his strengths in problem solving, innovation, leadership, operations and project management.           

Graig’s multi-site and multi-state experience in HRMS operations has focused on implementing solutions that meet business challenges through the application of HR knowledge and the deployment of information systems. The success of these solutions was achieved through solid resource management and with the backing of all stakeholders.

Graig has extensive expertise in process improvement, project management, team building, training and mentoring which have served to distinguish him as a leader. His innovations have spanned the breadth of client service platforms from HR portals to outsourced shared service to employee self-service. His business support strengths have been broadly applied, ranging from acquisitions to divestitures, from consolidations to IPO’s and from entry level employees to retiring executives.

Graig’s many achievements include the design, testing and implementation of a global HRMS system with broad functionality and efficiency. Under his lead, these functions were distributed to 10 divisions using 7 major platforms that comprised a decentralized yet highly integrated service delivery model. This recordkeeping system included a data base of 90,000 employees, terminates and retirees. The system was linked to the Payroll, Tax, Accounting, Insurance, Retirement, Savings and Executive Compensation processes. During his tenure, Graig implemented online interactive edit and validation which resulted in a 75% reduction in record maintenance time and enhanced data accuracy. Graig led the operation of this HRMS for 6 continuous years without a significant service interruption.
